Prof. Dr. Sefik SUZER
Bilkent University – Turkey
ŞEFİK SÜZER is a Chemistry Department faculty member in Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. He completed his Ph.D. at U. C. Berkeley in 1976 and worked in Middle East Technical University (Turkey), before joining Bilkent University (Turkey) in 1992. He has been conducting research on surface science and spectroscopy with a focus on charging phenomena in XPS, using both static (d.c.) and dynamic (a.c.) voltage stimuli, for material and device characterization involving thin films, solids as well as solid/liquid interfaces. He is members of the ACS, RSC and AVS, and Fellow of the AVS since 2010. He is the inventor of the; “Localized-X-Ray-Photoelectron-Impedance Spectroscopy” (Lo-XPIS).
